Our goal at BROOKS Performance is to provide our customers with a balanced platform
from which to improve performance at every level. This begins with an understanding
of our customer’s overall driving goals for their vehicle. From this starting point
we are able to recommend the performance upgrades that will bring balance and
predictability for both street and track use while retaining overall ride quality.

We begin with a balanced suspension system, with a goal of overall chassis rigidity to
take advantage of both current and future power levels. Pre-05 Mustangs are known to
use 19% of their available flywheel HP to fight body flex. With chassis rigidity
addressed this wasted HP is reclaimed for overall vehicle performance. This is followed
by recommended brake upgrades to give our customers the advantage of proper brake bias
which adds to the predictability of the vehicle in all driving situations.

Power upgrades, including engine, transmission, exhaust and differential improvements
are all researched and recommendations are made to accommodate the customer’s overall
goals for driving and budget considerations.

The new SN197 chassis design first introduced on the 2005 Mustangs is a much more rigid
chassis however we have found through testing that these Mustangs benefit greatly from
upgraded suspensions, brakes and power improvements, making a great car even better.
The ability of the SN197 to be an everyday driver and track car is greatly improved with
our tested and recommended upgrades.

All of our suspension upgrades are offered in stages which are specifically designed with
the customer in mind. Each stage is fully balanced and can be added to in the future
without discarding expensive performance parts in the process.

Our Stage systems begin with the BROOKS Street / Competition systems. These systems are
a great way to give your performance car a new lease on life with better overall chassis
rigidity and center of gravity, while adding a more aggressive appearance and retaining
great ride quality.

For the customer who demands more performance from their vehicle we recommend the next
step in our Stage systems, the Extreme Street / Competition Systems. These systems
designated XS/C systems are much more aggressive and offer a wider variety of upgrades,
including coil over struts and shocks, torque arms, chassis braces and adjustable panhard
bars. These systems are available to be upgraded to the XS/C R systems which are still
able to used daily on the street, but are more track ready.

In 2007 BROOKS Performance released a new program aimed at the SN197 GT Mustangs called
the STEALTH Program. This new program has the unique STEALTH design, specific serial
numbers. The design incorporates aerodynamic body upgrades with custom paint and designs,
significantly upgraded power including whipple supercharging, upgraded brakes, wheels and
tires and STEALTH specific suspension upgrades.

The available packages include the STEALTH which is an estimated 350 RWHP non supercharged
model, and the STEALTH R with an estimated 475-500 RWHP in supercharged form. There is
also an Extreme STEALTH R available that is race ready and specifically designed for the
owners driving goals.
